Chicago Ambisonics features over three hours of city ambiences captured all over Chicago including streets, parks, and subways. Explore recordings from iconic locations including Magnificent Mile, Chinatown, the L Train, West Loop, Kennedy Expressway, O'Hare International Airport, Lake View, and Wrigley Field.
All recordings are provided in both stereo and Ambisonic B-format (FuMa). Using the free SoundField by RØDE plugin, the Ambisonics format allows you to point “virtual microphones” in real-time, change polar patterns, and decode to mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and beyond for endless creative possibilities.
