NYC Ambisonics Vol. 2 features 90 high-quality B-format ambiences with bundled software that allows you to point “virtual microphones” in any direction in real-time with a wide range of polar patterns. Captured by recordist Coll Anderson, this library features 24-bit/96kHz Ambisonics recordings from hand-picked locations throughout New York City, with a focus on Manhattan and Brooklyn. Pre-rendered stereo versions of all of the recordings are also included.

As a follow-up to Pro Sound Effects’ popular NYC Ambisonics library, and the latest addition to the Urban Ambisonics Bundle, NYC Ambisonics Vol. 2 maintains the standard of quality while expanding the sonic offering to a range of useful new locations.

The Ambisonics recordings can be decoded to mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and beyond. In addition to giving sound editors and mixers greater flexibility and control over the recordings, these recordings are also perfect for 3D Audio applications including VR and 360º video.
