Create natural and detailed soundscapes with the urban, oceanic, and woodland sounds of Pacific Northwest. From the bustling traffic and construction on the streets of downtown Seattle, to the ferries and waves on the coasts and islands, inject these immersive ambiences into your stories.

To capture these sounds, recordist Jason Strawley and videographer Andrew Garraway traversed through the Pacific Northwest region, recording sounds across cities, forests, islands and coasts in Washington and Oregon. Transport your audience to a wide variety of immersive locations with pristine urban and nature sounds, available in both stereo and ambisonics formats.

All recordings are provided in both stereo and Ambisonic B-format (FuMa). Using the free SoundField by RØDE plugin, the Ambisonics format allows you to point “virtual microphones” in real-time, change polar patterns, and decode to mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and beyond for endless creative possibilities.
