The Richard King Vehicle Series features world-class vehicle sound effects libraries developed from the private collection of four-time Academy Award®-winning sound artist Richard King (Oppenheimer, Inception). All sounds were expertly captured by industry-leading recordists with the resources of a Hollywood budget - often with multiple microphones from various perspectives to give editors maximum flexibility for creativity and realism.

This truly one-of-a-kind library captures the futuristic sound of a Tesla Roadster prototype electric car pushed to its limits. Recorded on a dynamometer (a device used for testing and analyzing vehicle performance while stationary), this library focuses on the high-performance electric engine rather than the usual set of passbys and interaction sounds. Among the 191 hyper-detailed recordings, you’ll find all the whirs, revs, spin-ups, and wind-downs you need to design unique sci-fi vehicles, spacecraft, robots, and whatever else you can dream up. Specific RPM levels and acceleration intervals are provided to make this electric car sound effects library especially useful for video game sound design.
